Ford South Africa Assembly Plant

Project Overview

In partnership with VIKO Consulting Engineers, JC van der Linde & Venter Projects, and RSB Contracts, the project includes a new press/stamping plant, body shop, and MP&L warehouse for the Next Gen Ford Ranger. With a dedicated team and deep industry roots, we proudly deliver world-class steel solutions across Africa, supporting a strong and sustainable South African steel industry. The Ford South Africa Assembly Plant (Package E) was named the Winner of the Automotive Category at the 2022 SAISC Steel Awards. As part of a R3-billion investment in Ford’s high-volume export programme, this Rosslyn-based project featured a 12,400m² warehouse standing 14.6m tall. Despite the global supply chain disruptions of the COVID-19 pandemic, the project was delivered ahead of schedule through the extensive and strategic use of structural steel.
