Ford South Africa Assembly Plant

B&T Steel is honoured to have been selected as the winners in the automotive category of the Steel Awards held on the 13th of October 2022 and hosted by the The Southern African Institute of Steel Construction (SAISC).

Together with VIKO Consulting Engineers, JC van der Linde & Venter Projects and RSB Contracts, the award recognises our expertise and capabilities for extensive structural steel fabrication and erection work on the new ground breaking Ford Assembly Plant located in Silverton, Pretoria. The construction includes a new press/stamping plant, body shop and materials, planning and logistics (MP&L) warehouse for the assembly of the Next Gen Ford Ranger model.
